Description
Luftwaffe version of the M43 Einheitsfeldmütze . Cap body constructed of dark-colored Blaugrau - 100% wool. Fabric was made in Germany , by a mill that made it during the War. 100% viscose lining from Italy, colour could be blue or dark gray ( Depends of the batch ). Threads are mixed, mostly brown, somewhere gray.
Very similar colour of this wool is in the book " German paratroopers" by Karl Veltze, page 35.
Pattern for this Feldmütze comes from original disassembled cap, every single detail was copied straight from authentic example.
- Ear muff loops and white binding tape
- Buttons are reproduction, painted with computer mixed blaugrau colour.
- The machine woven eagle - factory zig-zag sewn to the cap's front, cockarde is hand sewn, both insignia was sewn not through the lining.
- Pattern is the same as original, with all small details.
- Viscose, blue heavy rayon lining, used in most original LW M43 Feldmützen
