Winter Fur Cap - Pelzmütze

Pelzmütze/ Fur Cap.

Caps are made with 100% wool fieldgray cloth from Germany, cotton lining, and highest quality real rabbit fur from Poland. Rayon webbing ties are 100% original WWII pieces, buttons are 1:1 reproduction. 

The rabbit fur comes from a Polish factory that prepares furs especially for German shops, it is high quality, soft and I am sure everyone will love it. 

It was made exactly like originals. Between lining and wool I used fabric similar to Reizwolle - (Recycled  cotton/rayon and wool blend)

Fur caps are very warm, looks and feels like originals, I wanted to make it few years ago, but didnt have enough knowledge about fur cutting and sewing. Take note that is also hand sewn inside - again same as originals.

Production time - One cap from cuting fabric and fur to button sewing took me about 6 hours.

Smaller  cutting scraps leftover were  patched together using a fur machine - Same as originals (check photo)

Original Fur caps sheds and very often smells bad, so better do not wear them.

Only selected fur colors brown/gray was used - ( not all black, white, red )

 Pattern for this type of caps comes from original disassembled fur cap.

- Do not wash it ( it is real rabbit fur)

- Do not wear it in rain.
