HEER M43 field cap with high quality BeVo
insignia (Elsenau made) . Cap
body constructed of CUSTOM MADE Italian wool ( Grigio Verde) 100% wool and twill viscose lining.
In September, 1943, Italy surrendered and the German armed forces occupied the remaining military installations and confiscated remaining stocks of uniforms and raw materials. Shortly thereafter, the Germans began using Italian fabrics in the production of their own uniforms and caps.
Reproduction cap was copied from my original M43 Italian wool.
Brown colored thread, twill viscose lining, custom made wool and insignia, buttons painted with computer mixed color, buttonholes are almost identical.

I have sended my original sample to factory for base on it, making 450meters of this unique wool..
Its coarse, scratchy but more comfortable than original...
Not too blue, not too dark, weight of it is 770gsm.
It wasnt copied in China, Ive heard that their wool glowing under Blacklight...
