Description
Waffen SS M43 Feldmutze made using ORIGINAL MINT WOOL.
The
feldgrau wool is in perfect condition, without holes or stains, the fabric looks like it was produced a few days ago. I did not have to cut any original mantel to produce these hats!
M43 Waffen SS Einheitsfeldmutze:
- Body cap made of original MINT feldgrau wool.
-The thread is original feldgrau ( MEZ AG, Freiburg/Baden )
-Buttons are reproduction, but they are easy to change for original. ( They are harder to find in this times, but maybe You have more luck than me)
-Bevo insignia are high quality reproductions. (original insignia - skull + eagle cost + 900Euro )
- white binding tape under the flap hem is original.
- visor stiffener is pressed cardboard - same as original.
- lining is 100% viscose, colour and stamps based on my original M43 Cap.
Field caps have all details, in hands looks far better! They are the best caps I have produced.

The same comments I like to give for my this 2nd cap in ORIGINAL MATERIALS - The best of the best ! Is very dangerous when this SS cap in ORIGINAL MATERIAL is replaced with ORIGINAL insignias. You cant tell at all! Sizes: I'm wearing a size: 56 1/2 for my peak cap. The 1st cap I brought from Elsenau was a size: 57. It fits me but when I insert a finger between the side of the cap, I find a bit tight. Now, for this 2nd cap, I brought a size: 58 and it fits me perfectly! On a hot day, you don't have to worry about the sweat sticking onto your forehead. Hope it helps for some of you here.

The cut is quite different from the EM/NCO M-43 cap. The feel is really comfortable! This ORIGINAL MATERIAL SS cap is almost 100% "ORIGINAL" just that it has not been to the war. My peak cap size is 56 1/2. I order a size: 57 previously. But this time I order a size: 58 and it suits me well! Sweat will not stick onto my forehead in our humid climate here in Singapore. Wunderbar!
